Before I begin, I went into 5-2 for relief class yesterday and a student said,

Wah, how did this happen? Must be linked from blog to blog and ended up at mine...

Alright, the world's very small. Sometimes when you talk to A, you find that you have a common friend B, and with common friend B, you may have another common friend C. And the list goes on.

Exams are coming, babies, please study real hard, especially 2-4.

I understand you've bonded really well and sometimes you've too much distractions (eg, boy sitting next to you is too good-looking, girl sitting in front of you has hair too smooth and glossy, yea, you get my nonsensical drift) so much so you end up focusing on wrong things (eg, you don't see what my powerpoint slides read, but know what necklace and earrings I'm wearing).

Jia You! And treasure what's left in the remaining school term with your fellow classmates...

Rich man or Char Kway Teow man?

Today, on my way back home, I recalled what Poh Kian Yee from class 1-3'09 asked me one fine day.

He said, "Yelaoshi, if there're two men, one's a rich man, but doesn't love you that much; another sells char kway teow, not rich but loves you very much, who would you choose?"

I laughed and asked him, "Why must he sell char kway teow?" He didn't give me a reason but insisted that I answer him.

Why can't there be a choice with someone who is rich and loves me much? Of course, this is the most ideal combination but I do understand that life is full of imperfections.

Just that... understanding is one thing, when it comes to practicality versus emotions, it becomes sticky.

A year ago, I couldn't answer Kian Yee. In fact, I went home and laughed about it with Mom but both of us still couldn't come up with an answer.

A year later, while reminded of the scenario he posted me back then, I still can't come up with a proper answer.

今天，独自在巴士上，不由得想起一年前1-3’09的傅健毅在某天贸然问我的一席话。

他说：“叶老师，我问你，如果有两个男人，一个是有钱人，很有钱，但是没有那么爱你；另外一个卖炒粿条的，没有钱，但是非常爱你，你会选择哪一个？”

当时，我笑翻了，问他：“为什么一定要是卖炒粿条的？”他也没有给什么理由，硬是要我答。

为什么不可以是又有钱，又爱我的呢？当然，这肯定是最完美的配搭，但人生有很多不完美，这点，我了解。

只是... 这种爱情/面包的问题的确有点棘手。

一年前，我答不出。我还回家问了妈妈，我俩笑了笑，又仔细思考，结果没有办法想到任何答案。

Pretty Zizi misses my posts. *sniffs* touched seh.

As some of you may have known, I had been down with fever - flu - flu - fever. Yes Fever is back. Now i'm running a 38.2 or more. Three days ago was 38.6. I puked last night. My running nose won't come back no matter how hard i chase it. My blocked nose likes to remain stuffed especially when I'm lying down. My sore throat remain sore despite drinking weird concoctions. My headache plagues me as and when it likes. I'm coughing so much I'm feeling giddy every now and then.

I think my symptoms have a mind of their own.

They are controlling me.

They are overtaking me.

They are taking over my body, my senses, my mind.

Now, don't you think I'm becoming crazy rather than sick?

I can't go out.

Can't do anything.

Even sleeping is a problem.

I'll stay in bed and watch catch-up tv on xin.msn.com.

Add in some more hair and I look like that.

today, I taught u people how to fold the paper cranes, please practise at home using the following clip:

We'll fold the cranes again on Wed during CCT and Thu during CME. Let's try to fold the most number of paper cranes on Friday during the competition!!

Please also remember to cut and bring as many 16cm by 16cm magazine cut outs before Friday. We need plenty!! So, remember to contribute... I-weekly, U-weekly, 8 Days, Teenage, Cleo, FHM (?!?!) or whatever magazines you have!! :)

Well, now that MYE is over, we are less tensed up larh.

I hope peeps who have done well are happy and those who have not done as well will buck up. :)

Many things to say but dunno where to start from.

Will be a busy week ahead. 2-4, it's our CIP mission! Yea~~ I'm more tired than excited actually. After running around the school, seeking permission for this and that, talking to the bosses, very tiring de ok... especially when my staff room is on the 4th floor... I can't count how many times i've run up and down today.

2-4 Class Tee

And so we got the class tee on Thursday night.

Didn't expect 10 members to go with me eh!! (: so happy.

I like the class spirit. ^^

Anyway, we waited for so long even when we went to have dinner, walked around (and adeline + yang rui had 2nd round of dinner. GASP)... Finally, the shirts arrived and the excited beings put on the shirts once received.

Aik Ming's and mine are left there for alteration. Wrong name!! :(

Then we realised there were more mistakes with Farah's and Vernon's the next day. Ahh... :(

I do like the shirts. Not sure if you guys like or not. It may be... not striking as we had hoped it to be but white goes with all colors - any bottoms will do.

I mean, let's say you have GREEN shorts. You can't possibly wear hot pink + green. That would look hideous... :X

CNY holidays is gone in a flash... I'm happy that 2-4 won 2nd in Notice board Competition and Syarafina got 1st in the Ang Bao competition!

Though we had been really 'tormented' by the Tigger... I was glad that it brought us the glory!

See, as long as efforts are put in, they will be recognised! Thank you to those who have helped to put the notice board together, staying back to paint / decorate and putting ideas together to make this happen...

The Birthday Celebration

I can't tell you how touched I am by 2-4.

Although I've taught most of you in Sec 1 (except the Malay students and 5 new members), I never expected something so grand from you guys. After all, I can be quite a tyrant and a meanie at times. :P

2-4 is rushing me to post about Monday asap but I've been so busy lately, meeting friends and all. Hehe... So, here's one post, w/o pictures.

Boys and girls, send me the pictures!!! Find me to get my private email address (not my msn email add) coz I want to keep the pictures too!

Anyway, Monday, 8/2, was just another ordinary workday for me. And I looked very blue - coz of my clothes (which some claim that I look as if I was run over by a car and the car wheel marks are left all over me. T_T)

When I first entered 2-4, they asked if I would stay back after school and I said I couldn't due to a meeting. The girls' looks gave them away, coz I felt some sort of anticipation through their eyes. :P

Didn't think much into it until I received a call from Adeline (our chairperson) at 11.20am. I wondered why she was calling me when she was supposed to be in class and the place she was at sounded so noisy... She didn't tell me her whereabouts but told me to go to class earlier (next period is my Chinese class).

I just thought something might be in place, so I went over.

The kids looked so surprised to see me and I was 'chased' out coz apparently, according to Rachael, "the classroom is under construction". ?!?!

Then I stood outside and waited. Soon, I saw the relief teacher walking out with a queer smile. Stepping into the class that day was different. The kids looked excited and I was given a huge surprise...

The entire whiteboard was filled with birthday greetings - in Chinese, English and Korean... Little drawings, close to heart well-wishes... and a resounding birthday song came shortly after.

I looked around and realised... some members were missing.

"Where's Adeline?" I asked.

"Don't know." the kids said. Ya rite... They must be up to 'no good'...

And true enough, in a short while, the missing members returned, with a cake in their hands...

I see the smiles, hear the laughs, feel their warmth and my silly tears started welling up in my eyes.

I've never had 31 people celebrating my birthday for me.

Or should I say, I've never really celebrated my birthday. My parents never threw a birthday party for me before and so we only cut a cake or have a meal and that's that. No birthday bashes, no birthday outings...

Touched to the core, I must say.

And so, we sang the birthday song again, with 31 kids huddling around the teacher's desk, candle flames prancing around so prettily and happy faces (and some cameras) filling up the entire space.

Memorable. Ultimately unforgettable.

Then it was the wish-making, candle-blowing, cake-cutting, gifts-presenting and photo-taking.

We had much fun. And they made me feel like the idol-of-the-day, with cameras shooting non-stop - glam or unglam.

^_^ And there, here's the birthday post.

The biggest birthday present from my lovely 2-4 darlings is really the thought, the love and the joy they bring me...

称呼的联想

今天，CLB的学生听到2－4的小朋友叫我“老叶”，笑翻了，问我：

“我们可以这么叫你吗？”

我笑说他们不能，因为2－4认识我比较久。

想一想，是不是认识久了就可以放肆一点？

应该也是。

那天，2－4的小朋友以往常的方式对我说再见。

“谢谢老叶”

我觉得没问题，大家熟络，没什么大不了。但，2－4的英文老师刚好在班内，听到同学们异口同声的道别方式，眼睛瞪得老大老大的。 0.0

现在想起来，还是觉得很好笑。

若称号／称呼奠定人与人的关系，那，我们平常对待旁人的说话态度也显示我们的关系。

有时，我们对周围的人过于放肆，并不是因为存心想气她／他，而是因为两人关系有一定的深厚，你认为“他／她会了解的”。

今天，我很开心。

因为我也曾经对人放肆。

放肆得，他气疯了；我也气炸了。

就这样，我们1个多月不和对方说话。

我不知道他是不是生气。我不知道他好不好。弄得自己心情一直都闷闷的。

今天，我们又联络上了。

所以，我想说，和自己亲密的人沟通时，的确会让我们忘了一些分界线，但，切记，别因熟悉就放任自己，结果沦落为最熟悉的陌生人！

I wanted to type this post like... 2 days ago.

After all, accident happened 2 days ago.

You see, it all started off with a wonderful Saturday morning. I woke up, feeling refreshed and all (it's finally the weekends!!), all geared up for a morning run (YES, in case you're curious, R.U.N. Not like you guys crawling last Friday) and mentally preparing to return home to bake a cake (Yes again, I bake.).

And then, what follows left me with a nasty Saturday and no cake to bake / eat.

While doing my 3rd round, a teenager on a bicycle came in my way. So obviously you dodge when you see some vehicle in your way right? And I dodged.

Wrong move.

He 'smartly' Dodged as well.

INTO my path.

TA-DA.

And you can imagine what happens next.

Human and Steel crash - head on.

It was fortunate that I did not fall backwards or I would suffer a spinal injury / leg fracture / severe buttock ache on top of my cuts, sprain and bruises.

Half my palm was blue (sprained, no less), 3 ugly blue blacks on my legs and a cut on my hand.

I thought running WAS safe. Now, I've second thoughts. Now if you ask me... Running isn't exactly safe...

The lazy bug has been biting and still biting. Tell me truthfully, you don't want to come back to school too right? You wish it's still the holidays, don't you?

Still, it's time to get back to reality. Hi to my 1-4, now 2-4 family, along with new family members, no less. (: Let's have a smashin' time this year!!

Sch holidays are fast approaching!! YAY!!

Aren't you guys excited? 2 months of fun (or boredom for some) and crazy change of bio-clock.

I'm excited, for this is the first holiday I'm having as a full-fledged teacher. Ever since joining the service, time has passed so fast and January seemed like yesterday. (:

I'm loving every bit of time I have spent with my lovelies from the various classes and if I ever teach you guys next year, we'll have a blast in 2010 too!

There are still certain individuals, whom I shall not name to protect your identity, not handing up the SUPER OVERDUE Chinese essay from the various classes (except 1-3, everyone has handed up).

I am majorly upset.

Thanks to Vernon, I've gotten 2 more essays from 1-4. (:

I'm trying my best to finish marking all because we need to clear one more essay (at least) and one more letter writing when school reopens... And we've got no time. I still have to prepare the Sec 1s for Oral exams + Written exams, we still have a class test in week 2. Final exams are in week 3. There is so much going on yet there's so little time.

I am devastated.

Dinner's good. The last time we came here, one of the sides (and supposedly the best one) was unavailable and this time, they have it! Yay. Sizzling good. (:

I think this is what we saw that night. We saw the star logo, didn't we?

Training our eyesight was so fun you teared. Hahaha...

The next time we intend to play the guessing game again, I guess we better study hard here first. :P

Today, I had a school trip with International students to National Museum.

And at the front of the museum, stands this display called the Love Tank. It's awesome I tell you. Go take a look and take some shots of it. Pretty thing!

Thanks to Youth Day, we get another day of holiday (extended weekend) after the June Holidays. It had been a hectic week due to getting to school early for H1N1 prevention checks and knocking off late due to Sec 4 O Levels Oral Examination.

And so this long weekend = lots of movies and variety shows and what nots.

Very brainless post ahead. So no translation. (:

Let's see what I've completed in these 3 days...

1) Pink Panther 2. Friend told me how hilarious it was when it was released. Didn't catch it in the cinemas and so I told myself to watch it no matter what. Oh well, it's quite a 'blah' show, rather funny and that's about it.

2) Marley and Me. That is a good one. Marley is cute, story starts off being funny and ends off being a tear-jerker. I like it. (:

3) 1 episode of Beautiful Cooking 2 (only). Reason being I finished all other 11 episodes of season 2 and 18 episodes of season 1 a week ago. Tee Hee.

4) 6 episodes of Shi Jie Zheng Mei Li (4 on Hokkaido and 2 on Hong Kong). I love travelogues / food shows / dramas. They rock my socks. Yeah.

5) Confessions of a Shopaholic. Deh. I don't like it. I am a fan of Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic series. I finished every single book and I love how bimbotic the story is (oops) and obviously the plot was alluring. Not the movie. Bleah. Characters had no erm... character. Plot was mediocre. Eww...

6) Bolt. Cool stuff. Animations can hardly go wrong. This shall stay. And shall be used to entertain you guys when we've got extra time on hand. *claps*

7) 1 episode of Shi Jie Na Me Da (Brazil). Another travelogue. The host is cute. Heh~

My usual habit is to watch umpteen movies and dramas during the holidays.

I haven't been a fan of Singapore's telemovies but this is an exception.

Ever since watching the trailer, I've been dying to catch this on Channel 5.

And so I did.

"Angel" is Real good.

Nat Ho looks so natural here, compared to channel 8 productions (which I'm sorry to say I really can't help cringing at times when he is trying so hard to mouth the Chinese lines). Way to go, Nat!

Anyway, I was really touched when I was watching the telemovie. The plot tugged those heartstrings ever so lightly, my emotions were stirred. Those tears just won't stop dropping.

If you have caught the show as I did, I am sure you would feel the same way too.

Love between child and parent, lost relationships or one that never existed. Things that we take for granted but yet prove to be so important deep down our hearts.

Lucky people get a second chance.

2 hours of badminton is tiring enough.

3 hours of badminton is downright insane.

In case you are curious regarding my title, I'm still recovering over my aching body after 3 hours of grueling but madly fun badminton session with the boys 3 days ago.

I've been meeting up with my 3B'08 boys to coach them for their coming N levels and for chit chat, makan sessions.

It's pretty amazing how I only taught them for 10 weeks (practicum) and yet we could hit it off so well and kept contact til now.

Anyway, I hope everyone has been doing really well... I've enjoyed myself talking rubbish with these boys (and also causing my blog to be polluted by their nonsensical messages. Gah.) and I hope you've benefited from the past 2 sessions.

拜六礼拜打得很HIGH!

是不是联想到: 拜六礼拜会不会开?

我的周末就窝在家里，观看了超精彩的羽球比赛！

平常，运动细胞近乎零的我，因为工作（借口啦！）都很少机会参与任何运动。最多也只是“久久一次”玩Wii。哈哈。

最近又开始跑步。很想念以前疯狂游泳、日光浴的日子。但现在的太阳真的太可怕了，不得不选择无阳光的十分运动。唉。

偏题了，总之，这场Aviva羽毛球赛事的确有看头！当然，也有不错看的男羽球好手！^_^ 27岁的泰国选手Boonsak Ponsana，挺不赖的。虽然最终得了第二名，但我很欣赏他的运动员精神，不论胜败，总是笑脸宜人。

我想，运动也和学习一样，一分耕耘，一分收获。但有时，即便付出很多，也可能无法看到成果。重要的是，要懂得调试心情，懂得从种种历练中吸取更多的经验，以挑战下一个考验！

And so my weekend was spent at home staring at the TV, watching Aviva Badminton Championship.

For the lack of time and mainly due to my own laziness, I hardly get to play sports on working days (on top of being quite a sports idiot). Well, I don't know much about sports, but I do know that I don't mind badminton, swimming and running. Oh, and how about Wii Sports? Hehe...

I had a pleasant time watching the men and women fighting for their places with zest and zeal. Of course, even more so when there's an eye candy in the crowd. 27 year-old Thai player, Boonsak Ponsana is the sportsman who caught my eye. (laughs) I think, it's more than his boyish charm and spectacular moves that make me go weak on my knees. I love how he keeps his smile going even when he's on a losing streak. Sportsmanship to the max, I say.

This applies to studying too. Like playing sports, you reap what you sow when studying. And sometimes, even if you may have put in your best, you still may not get your desired results. This is when you got to pick yourself up, smile and keep going. Yea?

Times are different now, I have realized.

When I was in Secondary school, we don't fall in love. We have crushes, we have innocent puppy love, or simply just a severe case of LIKE. Now, children as young as primary 5 hold hands. o.0 Needless to say, Secondary school children can even be more experienced in the department of love than me, though I would like to believe that I'm far more rational and matured now.

Of course, I underwent the same course as many of you but it was definitely after Secondary school that I properly had my first taste of love. I used to quiz my Secondary 2 (now Secondary 3) student cum friend cum 'brother', "So next time when you get married, how are you going to tell your wife about how many girlfriends you've had? Or, who will be your REAL first love?" He laughed and said he really didn't think of this so he could not answer me.

Somehow, I have come across many students who have changed partners so frequently, I wonder if they really know what love it all about. I can safely tell you how many boyfriends I've had. I don't have to count fingers and toes and still not get the right number. What about you?

Then, in the midst of changing boyfriends and girlfriends, there will inevitably be the cause of the soured relationship. Of course, there are some ridiculous one who simply break off because the "feel" is no longer there. Others engage in various degrees of quarrels, fights and tear-jerking moments. I feel you, if you come to me and cry or you tell me how things aren't working anymore. I know how it feels. Been there, done that.

“It takes two hands to make a clap”. Well, it does in a relationship. Humans are social animals as they would always need love, company, attention, fulfillment of their needs and so on.

It takes a two way communication process in order to maintain a harmonious relationship. There is no such thing as a one-way love although it may happen in a certain stage of a relationship. Sooner or later, the party would be burnt out. Everyone would like to love and be loved. No one would like a monotonous relationship where both are doing their personal things without any communication all the time. Would you?

‘Opposites attract’. It is this very reason that a man is attracted to a woman and vice versa. (Probably not all the time, but let's just say it happens most of the time.) There is no doubt in my mind that the perfect couple does quarrel. (Which refers to any of you in a relationship.)

There times when you may feel like knocking your head against the wall because she refuses to see that what you say is right and no matter what apology is something that only you have to do, yet you can't part with your pride to do so. Right, this is said in a girl's viewpoint but I really think "sorry" is a powerful word that can pacify an angry soul and soften a terribly upset heart.

As the saying goes, ‘teeth and tongue will meet’, so yes, couples will quarrel and have disagreements but they should be committed to finding a solution or at least a middle ground from which to sort their problems out. Love cannot sustain itself… It takes work. Couples need to appreciate each other and celebrate their differences as well as their commonalities. Granted that things may get boring after some time. Reminisce about the ‘good old days’ when your love was ‘brand new’.

There's no shortcut to this "game" of love, with rules ever-changing and unexpected twists and turns.

Even though I still don't think it's the right time to fall in love, after all, all of you are too young and can hardly be sure of what you exactly want, plus things do change in the future... I still hope you can try your utmost best to make miracles. Make it or break it, it is just a thin line away. Embrace love while you both can for it is too late for regrets should things get way out of hand and beyond cure...

For the rest who are not engaged in a BGR, you can still love! Celebrate love. Be it love of your boyfriend / girlfriend, of your family, of your friends... And you'll be surprised how it may change your life...

虽然快到六月假期了，但是，工作还是排山倒海地向我们冲过来！哀哉！

总之，忙啦。没时间来这里写东西。

必须准备自己的工作评估，得为学生的比赛做准备，得开会，得准备家长会。再熬多一个星期。一个星期！度日如年还是要坚持！

同学们一定都玩得不亦乐乎了吧！好好享受啦，六月假期时，老师们也不会手下留情!

大家好！

Hi all...

很久没有写东西了。没时间，也没有心去写。

I haven't been updating coz I haven't had the time / energy or heart to really write larh...

最近忙些什么呢？

Updates on myself these while...

1）在学校，不外是监考，改卷，算分，还替大家把卷子都钉在一块儿，然后打洞。看，老师多好！星期一（2－2，1－3，2－7）和星期二（1－4），要记得带计算机，才可以计算分数哦！

1) In school, it's the examinations period. So as expected, I'm done with invigilation, finished marking all papers, collated the marks, painstakingly stapled everyone's scripts together (from paper 1 to paper 3 inclusive of all question papers...), punched holes for everyone... So when we get back our scripts on Monday / Tuesday, it would be really FAST and can get down to checking answers real quickly.

Anyway, if you guys don't know, Monday, I'll be seeing 2-2, then 1-3, followed by 2-7, Tuesday, I'll be seeing 1-4. Basically, each session would last 1.5hours, inclusive of giving out of papers, checking marks and answers. So do bring your calculators... Don't wanna drag too much time.

2）星期天，第二次看了《天冷就回来》。超爱的。有空，会好好做个“全程记录”！有照片为证哦！

昨晚，看了美国电影《阳光小美女》。很不完美的故事，但看起来却如此完美。我喜欢背后的故事。世上真的只有胜者和败者吗？在中间徘徊的你、我、他又算什么呢？很值得欣赏的一部好片！

2) Watched "If there're Seasons" once again on last Sunday and it was a blast. Love it love it love it. I simply love musicals and theatre performances. Ever mesmerizing. Will write an entry on it soon!

Last night, I watched "Little Miss Sunshine". Always wanted to watch the movie but never had the time. So I forced myself to finish the movie and I was really impressed by the simplicity of the story. It's so true about how imperfect our lives can be, yet we can make meaning out of it. Many lessons to be learned from the story. Is life only about winning and losing? What about those who don't win? Are they losers? Are people who lose never winners? A dysfunctional family, struggling to stay together. A little girl who has a dream. The crowd who is blinded by society norms. The family who stays cohesive til the end. Definitely a 5/5 movie! Which reminds me of Slumdog Millionaire. Another story about a simple person leading an extraordinary life. I shall go watch Juno soon.

Come think of it, all these stories seem to share common features... Dysfunctional families... Strong-willed individuals... People and things that can be found just around us... Cool beans.

3）关于小猪，罗志祥。很愤怒。对于媒介给予他的评论，我只能说，呸！当然，我不能找出任何证据，证明他的清白。但，媒体又何尝找到任何证据来给他定罪呢？人非圣贤。知错能改，善莫大焉。如果真是他错了，难道就要置他于死地吗？看到他在《娱乐百分百》落泪，我不禁为他担心。人们会当作他是在博取同情分还是被他的真心打动？我属相信他的那一类。

罗志祥也是受害者啊。他有想过自己会被出卖吗？他难道不能拥有私人生活吗？真正该被抨击的是社会上的许许多多无恶不作、欺负弱小、虐待妻儿的人呀！做为媒体人，为自己积德吧！突然我庆幸没有当记者。手握着多可怕的笔，指尖打出多么恶毒的字句啊！真是令人不寒而栗。

小猪，我挺你的啦！

3) About Show Luo. I watched Entertainment 100% last afternoon, last night and on Youtube. I don't know how the media / people would see his crying stint on his show. For 15 minutes, he spilled tears after baring his heart and soul, trying hard to defend himself and apologizing after the incident has gotten out of hand. (Go read the entertainment news / google to find out more.) Some may feel he's just trying to gain sympathy points from people. Some may feel he is Real and simply wanted someone to believe in him.

I belong to the latter. I really think he is a hardworking artiste. We are humans after all. We make mistakes. What is the big deal about this, you may ask. The big deal is, he is a public figure. So because he is 'public', he is supposed to keep his private life under wraps OR keep it untainted. I seriously don't think what he has done is so detrimental in any way. Why didn't people see it from the point that he was being betrayed? Imagine, you trust someone, pouring all your woes and eventually probably developed feelings for the someone, only to find out that everything was displayed in public. Someone decides your future for you. Someone washes your dirty linen out there. How devastated would you feel?

I feel for him. I really do. Why are there worse people out there whose news are not splashed across the newspapers? What about the unfaithful husbands / wives / boyfriends / girlfriends? What about the abusive spouses? What about the school bullies? What about the mistreated / underprivileged individuals? Come on! If the media people feel that they write what we like to read, why can't they think this way: we read what they write. If you twist facts, we won't read it either. I really hope he gets his justice. And for a record, I really hated the reporters who said how he used his mother to portray his good-boy image. I salute him for his filial piety. It's evident how he loves his mother and vice-versa. The media is plain mean to put him down when he's in the dumps right now.

Rawr. Furious.

Now that's another reason why I didn't want to become a journalist. Freedom of speech doesn't happen. Rather, we end up writing what we are made to write. Politically correct or sickeningly juicy news for the masses.

And so here I am to educate the young minds... Maybe that's a mission after all... My calling ya? Hm...

刚到家没多久。好一阵子没有这么夜出门、这么“早”回家。看了电影，在海边看星星，在车上听音乐、看着点点雨滴滑落车窗。

I just came back home not too long ago... Hee, been a long time since I returned home during the wee hours. We watched a movie, sat by the beach, star-gazed, relax in the car and listen to songs while watching the rain pitter-patter away...

我很享受整晚的平静，更感谢有人的陪伴（是谁陪谁已经不重要啦），虽然有时我静得可怕，欣赏着周遭的细微变化，不知不觉发呆起来。

I like the comfort and company throughout the night, though I have this thing for stoning away and enjoy little wonders of nature in my own queer way. :X

Anyhow, today's insanely chaotic due to the two temperature taking sessions. I'm sure lessons were disrupted and loads of hassle was required to mobilise the students to the infirmary area. Being part of the Warden Group, I was assigned to be the Sec 2 I/C. Rawr... If there were less students without ODTs we could have finished this temperature-taking exercise much faster!

Get your own thermometers! We'll still be conducting the exercise throughout the examinations period. If you don't want to be late for your exams and not be given any grace, kindly purchase one...

Meanwhile, study hard!! All the very very best to all my darlings of 1-3, 1-4, 2-2, 2-7 and not forgetting 3-3! (And also to my chinese drama kids... (: )

The Pigs Attack

Following the Swine Flu hitting lovely Earth fast and furious, all of us are on our toes. I just talked to my aunt who persuaded me to take my flu vaccination to protect myself on a very minimal basis. The piggies have been working so hard that our scientists are still working in their pantries to figure out a piggy vaccination.

My dear students, please remember to bring your thermometers (ODT) to school every single day as mass temperature exercises may be carried out anytime during such a high-alert period. Moreover, a formal temperature taking exercise would be carried out on coming Monday, 4 April 2009, during reading period.

When cute lil' pigs turn Nasty

I understand that some of you are not aware of how deadly this virus is, thus you may still be fooling around and not taking this matter seriously. Go read it up. Google it. Then you will be surprised at the severity of the situation now!

Meanwhile, take care of yourself and make sure you down loads of fluids. The weather is suffering terrible mood swings of late. One moment it's sweltering hot, the next moment torrential downpours take us by surprise. If you do fall sick, please see the doctor and don't come to school! It's a very sensitive period... We don't wanna cause too much anxiety, right?

Let's pray hard that the situation doesn't get any worse... ...

老师最近加紧脚步，马不停蹄地与大家做复习。复习应用文格式与要点，作文须知，阅读理解答题技巧，并且也要大家整理文件夹。

有些同学很积极，非常配合老师，将资料都带齐，真的很感谢你们。尤其是2－2的同学们，老师谢谢你们都很听话地去买文件夹，但是记得明天将所有讲义都带来，放进文件夹内。其他同学们，若果你仍然还没有准备或找到你们的讲义，请赶紧去整理出来或找朋友借来影印。

希望同学们都快马加鞭，在这几天努力学习，在考试获取好成绩，那你们有望参与 Achievers' Tea 而不是 Panel Meeting!

MYE is fast approaching!

I have been doing revisions with all of you, on the format of informal letter writing, points to note when writing essays and comprehension techniques. Also, we've been doing filing and I'm glad to note that some students are very vigilant and conscientious in their work. I especially thank 2-2 for cooperating very well with me to have brought all your files. However, please remember to bring the notes tomorrow so we can file them in accordingly. As for those who haven't prepared your files, please do so asap so as to prepare for the annual file check.

I hope all of you buck up and do well for the MYE so you would be attending the Achievers' Tea instead of the Panel Meeting! All the best!

Yesterday, I was walking down the stairs while J was making his way up. We exchanged greetings and he commented, "Pretty in pink uh?"

I looked up and went, "Ah?"

He left a sheepish grin and said, "Nah."

Well, I heard clearly what he had previously said and so I replied,

"I heard that..."

"I like that!"

A very short conversation, but laughter aplenty.

I love moments like this. Simple and yet so refreshing.

Long Time No See 好久不见

Anyway, I really had been terribly busy.

First there was SYF, which took up many weeks of my time in seeing to administrative matters, making props... Thankfully, we came back with a Bronze award, well, it's not bad for a first-timer in SYF! Congrats!

In the midst of it all, we had our chinese common tests...

Then there was Flag day where I joined three 3-3 girls on a really fun journey!

After which I administered essay tests (mock exam) and now I will have to mark until I drop!

And also in the midst of these all, I attended a concert - the Lee brothers along with Show, Jolin, Daniel, Jam etc... Not too bad gig, at least I get to see Luo Zhi Xiang and Xiao Jing Teng... Oh and Chen Xiao Dong... Haha, that made me quite happy... Tee Hee Hee... I also attended the musical "If There're Seasons". Simply mesmorizing. Any of you watched 天冷就回来? I think it's a GREAT performance So, I AM GOING TO WATCH A 2ND TIME!!

老师也会疯狂的……

What a crazy bunch... It's not appropriate to be running out of class all the time! Hai...

昨天，看到两位同学的手都被包成“小叮当”的手似的。

Yesterday, I saw two students whose hands were bandaged til they appear like Doraemon's... Hehe...

当然不是那么圆啦，不过，看到他们受伤的手，我不禁问：

“揍人啊？”

我知道自己很糟糕啦，不会先慰问，反而先质问。但是，看到血气方刚的男生手包扎成这个样，不得不做些许猜测！

Well, of course not as round as Doraemon's hand but once I saw the injured hands, I can't help but ask,

"Whacked people uh?"

I know I'm kinda terrible, I don't send consolations first yet I made such assumptions. C'mon, it's not difficult to associate injuries with fights right?

已经忘记Edwin说什么了，但总之不是打架，而同学们也觉得他受伤的理由很好笑。

Kevin是我在回家的途中遇到的，伤势显然比Edwin的严重（& “新鲜”！），还有些许血迹在指头上。

一问之下，才知道是“冲动”造成的伤。

唉。

照顾自己吧，年轻人！不要伤害自己，周围的人也会为你担心的啦。

I can't remember what Edwin said, but it's definitely not fighting and his friends found his reason of getting injured pretty funny too.

I met Kevin on my way home and very obviously, his injury was far more serious than Edwin's and blood stains are still visible on his fingers. Upon questioning, I derive that the reason behind the injury was "impulsive".

Sigh. Take care of yourself, treasure yourself! I'm sure there are many people around you who care for you!

二月份在电视上一直看到《只想说声对不起》的短片。

很多感触，很多感动。很想提笔写故事给制作单位，可是总是有股迟疑的力量拉着我。

我不懂为什么我害怕把故事打出来。一些同学们在作文里的勇气远远超出老师的。更确切地说，我几个月前已经把故事给储存在电脑里，但这些日子都不敢再启动那份文件，深怕会触及旧伤疤。

我害怕会让过往的回忆模糊眼前的一切。

我想投稿。

或许，我会。

可能，我会退缩。

不晓得。

我很喜欢《只想说声对不起》的广告，也很喜欢当中选用的背景音乐。轻轻柔柔的，触动我们的心。广告文案也非常细腻。简简单单几句就能引起共鸣。

（让我想到1－4班的昕依同学完成的海报，颜色，图案，都如此美妙。）

你们是不是容易哭的孩子们？

老师好奇。就拿这个广告来说吧，一听到那音乐从电视机播出，就会唤起许多回忆。那种想哭的回忆。你们年纪还小，应该无法明白／体会我的心情，对吧？

有没有人看了《海角7号》或TVB港剧《珠光宝气》？《海》和《珠》（最后一集）都让我哭得乱七八糟，所以，老师是哭包。只要能够触动心弦，都会让我哭的。。。下次再说《海角7号》和《珠光宝气》令人哭的原因吧。

总之，尽请期待6月份的节目《只想说声对不起》吧！我想，到时，我肯定会利用当中的故事当教材吧！嘿嘿……

The Penalty

Despite multiple replies and going down to classes, talking to students individually, and yet not getting assignments in my locker in time, I have decided to pass the law.

Assignments to be due last week and yet not handed in on last Friday will suffer penalties as follows:

1) All book reviews not in by Friday would have half the marks deducted, ie, if you get 7/10, I will only award you 3.5. This is calculated as 10% of CA marks. Since you don't bother about your CA marks, I don't bother giving you marks either.

2) All essays (zuo wen 作文 / ying yong wen 应用文) not in by Friday would get 1 mark deducted for each late day. Since I don't go to school on Saturday and Sunday, that would be 2 marks deducted. When I get your book on Monday, it is 3 days late and there will be 3 marks deducted. Again, this is part of your CA marks, zuo wen and ying yong wen will take up 40% of your CA marks.

It's all up to your discretion to get marks to throw marks away.

I have done my best in helping you guys to get marks. But if you don't treasure my efforts or even try your best to help yourself, I can't help you.

Your attitude towards your work reflects your attitude towards life.

I hope these people change for the better.

And for the rest who have dutifully handed in your work, thank you. I appreciate it much. You've made life much easier for yourself and me. (:

For repeated offenders, I will start contacting your parents from next week onwards.

Mid Year Exams are approaching. If you don't sense the urgency, let me urge you to start studying. Secondary 1s, it's your first time having around 8 subjects at a go. Please start revisions early.

If you wish to change for the better, you still have time, don't wait til the last minute and cry over spilt milk.

People who have missed the deadlines, there will be no concessions. Like I've always said, this is not the pasar malam, you don't get discounts.

偶遇

昨天，和朋友在MOF碰面后，从购物中心走路回家。途中，我正专心地享受独自的清静，突然，听到熟悉的声音，“老师！”猛地转头一看，原来是Kevin。这样也可以碰到学生，真开心！

Yesterday, after meeting up with my friends at MOF, I was walking home from the shopping centre. Just then, I heard a familiar voice shouting out to me, "lao shi!" I turned back and saw Kevin. I love this sort of impromptu meetings!

有几个令我开心的原因。

Of course, there are reasons for my joy.

一、就说说我对Kevin的印象吧！这男生给我留下的第一印象是在图书馆的那堂课。由于大家被锁在课室外，我带着大家到那里“避难”。同学们都没课本、文具。我们就开始哈啦起来，说些有的没有的。后来，我一时兴起，叫同学们挑选一位男生和一位女生当班代表。大家一推二推，能闪就闪。Kevin见状，毛遂自荐，很酷地说：“我啦！”Woah，赞哦！

后来，男女班代表也没些什么，因为总是我这个爱管事的老师在东奔西跑的。嘿。而那酷男Kevin成天在班上，窝在一个角落，不多话，也不太爱理人。所以，我对他总是以大姐姐对大孩子的方式沟通。这家伙当然还给我留下更多深刻的记忆，这里就不要拆他的台，不便多说。总之，Kevin是好孩子，正处叛逆期，酷酷的，做事靠心情mood。我好像扯远了，重点是，这么酷的学生，竟然还会叫住我，让我心头暖暖的。

Well, for one, let's talk about the impression Kevin left me. The first impression he gave me when during our lesson in the library. We were left stranded outside the class as it was locked and I had no other choice but to send them to the library where we chatted and shared stuff. Then I requested that they elect a male and female Chinese rep and the class started to push the responsibility to one another. Kevin volunteered upon seeing this situation, which surprised me pleasantly.

The reps didn't get much work to do coz I was often the one running errands. So Kevin didn't get to do his job as suggested. Anyhow, in class, he's often seen in the corner, doing his own things, not disturbing anyone, basically, very harmless and cool. As such, I am quite surprised that such a bo-chup and cool guy would take the first step to say 'hi'.

二、我决定教书，并不是因为我多么爱Teaching。而是，我很喜欢和年轻人接触。大家的活力真的很容易感染我，因此，我喜欢积极、活跃的班级。至少，班上不只一把老师的声音，还有许许多多的回应，把气氛搞起来！在学校外能够碰到学生，挺令人兴奋的。RSS的学生，我只碰过两次，昨天是第二次，第一次是在MOF巧遇Regina。（看来，我到MOF用餐时／后，总会有机会碰到你们！）

WWSS的朋友们就碰多了！今年就在列车上碰到Gerald，他这小子先打电话给我，要我转过身子，就让我看到正在傻笑的他。结果，一边谈天，还让他帮我提袋子。还有许许多多的机缘巧合，时不时就会遇到学生，看到大家卸下校服，仍不忘我，哈，本小姐还真是乐！

Next, I have to say, I came into teaching not because I love the job, but because I enjoy the interaction with teenagers. Sometimes things these teens say can make me laugh in amazement, cringe in detest or melt with compassion. As such, I'm happy to be able to interact with you guys even outside the classroom when you're no longer in your school uniform and I'm not your classroom teacher. At least, I'm not forgotten! Feels good ya?

一切完美

今天，《一切完美2》播完了。我很喜欢这部连续剧，尤其是第一季《一切完美》，真的是一切完美！故事性强，人物性格鲜明，赞！第二季的剧情，我略嫌有些沉闷，可能第一季刚播出时，很有新鲜感吧，现在我们的要求都高了？

无论如何，我还是一定会每晚捧场，毕竟，有Thomas Ong耶！hehe！而且，我还不断地赞叹撰稿的文案写得超好！很多台词都是经典！我喜欢！

不知道你们有没有看《一切完美2》呢？

Perfect Cut 2 has finished its run on Channel U. I love this serial and I think it's the best production by Channel U so far. I especially love season 1 because of the strong plot and characters. Probably I've higher expectations this time round so I find it tad boring at times or it has lost its initial impact after the first run?

No matter what, I still catch every episode every night for there's Thomas Ong!! Hehe... And I am awed by the script in the show. It's written really well and there're many classic lines!

Thanks for those who have handed up. Basically (especially to Niknoi, Jeremy, Ji An and Wee Kiat who asked), if I've not stated your names / struck through your name that was posted up earlier (I edited the post many times), you're safe.

I've made calls this afternoon, I hope it served its purpose to remind those who haven't finished their work! (: Anyway, I can't reach a number of you guys...

This is a VERY late post... I've been experiencing much problems with blogger, prompting me to clear my cache, delete my cookies and all. I hate FireFox 3. First it eats up half my bookmarks, now it disables my google account.

So I have to use Safari to sign in and remind EVERYONE to Start doing homework if you haven't....

昨天，带了中二的三名男同学搭乘德士到某学校进行比赛训练。

司机大叔是个健谈的仁兄，见到学生们，就滔滔不绝地聊起来。

抵达了目的地，学生们下车时，我正在付车资，司机大叔说：

“他们是好孩子。”

嘿，你可知我暗爽了许久？

Yesterday, I brought 3 Secondary 2 boys out for their competition training.

The cab driver was really friendly and he talked with us on various topics throughout the trip.

Upon arrival, the students got off and as I paid the cab fare, the cab driver said,

"They are good kids."

That really made my day.

Secondary 1 Cohort Camp 2009

Day 1

We left the school around 8+ / 9 (?) for MOE Diary Farm Adventure Centre. Nope, you don't get cows and sheep and what nots. Click to view some facilities at DFAC.

I was attached to half of 1-3. 19 of 1-3 members were under the care of me and trainer Fa-Ri-S (I can't remember his name... Anyone remembers? Farihz? Or?). They had ice-breaking games on the first day after checking in. Teachers have the luxury of having bunk beds while the kids had dormitories w/o beds. Heh, it's a camp after all! Don't expect a bed of roses!

Ice breaking games included this rope game where the team has to pass the rope from one member to another without letting go of each other's hands, within the stipulated time. 1-3 complained that I sabo-ed them. 'coz I requested the trainer to alternate the kids in a boy-girl-boy-girl manner. Hee. That's more fun right? And team work should be like this, regardless of race and gender!

Then it was lunch time, where the kids had to sit together in the canteen, eat with their own utensils, wash up after eating and listen to instructions or no food would be served.

After which, it's games again! There were several stations, both outdoors and indoors. Here are some photos from the various stations...

Jacky running away from my camera... (I have to say, he had been a wonderful sport, 'coz he was made to do a forfeit - ie, to sing a love song to a female. and he chose me... haha... poor boy, must have mustered much courage to do so!)

Every time someone does a forfeit, our trainer leads him / her along.
Then I wonder, who's the one really doing the forfeit?

Climbing the Wall... I also had a go on the Nitro Crossing. Woo, it looks harmless but it's really exciting...

After dinner, the night activity began. Groups of 10 were created and they were to enter the dark forest with no torchlights, no teacher guides and no trainers. They were left on their own to trust each other and work in a team to complete the trail. I have to say, everyone was fantastic. I was stationed in the middle of the forest with another teacher + trainer. It was scary enough and at times, we even thought we saw... the... unexpected... Scared the wits out of us adults. So I have to salute the 13-year-olds...

But the sight we saw at the end of the trail was breath-taking. It was late at night and even so, it was fantastic. It's a best spot for those martial arts flicks to be filmed! Tall rock walls and all...

The night ended after the adventurous walk and while the kids went back for their washing up, I was back at the bunk to do more marking. T.T

The best joke of the day was the frog in the female teachers' toilet. We screamed (it could jump REAL high) and engaged the help of our brave male teacher to chase the poor frog out. We must say, it's a really resilient frog, to have made its way up the 2nd storey toilet!

Day 2

After a terrible night of hardly any sleep... We must urge all campers... Next time, PLEASE switch off your phones and on top of that, REMOVE ALL ALARMS!!! Can you imagine phones ringing persistently through the night and alarms from various phones (There were so many phones collected from students in my room...) that totally irritated us big time...

1-1 to 1-4 started out on our Bukit Timah hike after breakfast! We came to the place that we ventured without lights the night before... And this is how it looks...

My photo doesn't do the place justice... It is much more magnificent.

But alas, the weather was not good. We only managed to walked a bit when we were told to head back to campsite...

Huixin and me. HAHA. Her pouty lips *and insists that the picture be deleted! Apparently not!* and me being all wet and sticky.

And then we headed back in the torrential rain. Some kids wore ponchos, I carried my umbrella (and still got wet anyway), others walked / ran in the rain... By the time we were back at the campsite, we were all dirty and wet. On the way, some people complained on the how tiring it was. Hey, I wasn't even saying a thing about it, how can young people like you complain?? Aiyoh... It was good workout, I gotta say!

I didn't stay for the afternoon activities as I had to leave the campsite for a workshop. So I wasn't sure what went on. If the weather was alright, I suppose the kids had abseiling and rock-climbing activities? :*( Boo... I wanted so badly to see (if not, try out) these heights stations!

I was back in the evening to see them preparing for the campfire... 1-3 was outside the canteen, practising the cheers...

However... some people were not too active. :(

Day 3

After breakfast, students got to see some photographs taken over the few days and also had to do area cleaning. After which, we headed back to school and there we parted ways. I believe there were many take-aways despite the "pain" and "torture" some people felt. I think it was more than memories that we bring home. There were friendships fostered, lessons learned - teamwork, cooperation, resilience, coordination etc...

All in all, I had a fanta-bulous time and I hope all the Sec Ones treasured theirs too!

星期四，和中二普通（学术）班的同学讲解测验卷子。

Damien问我为什么他理解问答的最后一题只得1分。

我接过他的卷子，噗嗤地笑了。

我还记得当时改卷子时，被那答案弄得啼笑皆非。

问题要求作答者提出一些学校和家长能够加强孩子人格教育的方法。篇章以一些丑陋的新加坡行作为反面教材，例如：选购水果、面包的丑态。

Damien回答，要家长教孩子们与水果培养多一点感情。

嘿嘿。

孩子们的答案真的很逗趣，很可爱。

但仔细想想，如果人们能够与宇宙万物培养感情，那我们的世界一定很美好，什么人格教育也可免了。以爱征服一切！

以前也想set up部落格来让学生说话＋看看。但是总是没有这么做。现在终于达成任务！

明天再来write entry，今天刚从露营回家，超级累的！

Thursday (ie tomorrow) gotta give out test papers and check marks. I hope everyone comes to school... But I'm seriously afraid that many people would fall sick after the camp!!

Hi all...

Gentle reminder to 3-3 peeps first, hi DARLINGs, please remember to hand your zuowens or laoshi will breathe down your neck when I'm back. GROWL.

To S.Weilun & the rest... And I've been away at the Sec1 camp. So far, it's been fun but really really tiring. Totally shag. I think all I hope for is a bed now. And I can only blog a short entry now is because I'm at a workshop with Internet facilities in the midst of the camp (and returning later for campfire).

Will post up some pictures to entertain you guys when I'm back home & less tired. Want to know more about the Sec 1 camp? Hehe, take a look below in Chinese (muahaha...) or wait for a photolog entry soooooooooon!

星期六和星期天都在赶着改完作文，几乎是不可能的任务。超累的！好不容易凌晨1点多才整理好行李。惊觉，带去3天2夜露营的包袱竟然比到东京一星期的行囊还要多？！？！而且，可笑的是，一部分的行李竟然是学生的功课，考试成绩，手提电脑。真的很夸张。

所以，老师是很努力的ok！同学们也应该用功一些！

总之，我们星期一早上浩浩荡荡地离开学校，到MOE Dairy Farm Adventure Centre。如果有人认为这是个牛奶场，那你就大错特错了！到这里看看吧！（Click to view page!）

对中一的学生而言，这肯定是非常难忘的经历。第一次参加必须独立的露营，第一次需要消耗这么多体力。我和1-3班的19个学生同一组，共处了充满乐趣的几天！

第一天，学生进行一些团体游戏ice-breaking games，从中更加认识朋友，学习合作精神。刚开始，同学们都对一些活动有些抗拒，尤其是那些需要男女学生一同合作的游戏。渐渐地，我觉得大家都玩开了，也放开了。有进步哦！

同学们不止有户外游戏，还有室内活动，输了的同学都很配合地完成他们的惩罚forfeits！很棒！不止如此，我们还在晚上进行了惊险刺激的夜间“探险”活动！学生必须在没有老师、领队与灯光（对！连手电筒都不可以带，而且，是走入毫无照明的森林！）的陪同下，完成一段漫长的路程！

非常好玩！哈哈，虽然有时候在“喂蚊子”，但总的来说，还是非常难忘的。我相信，同学们从中获得的不只是难忘的经验，还懂得互相信任和团队精神的道理。当然，我们也警觉平时惯用的电灯竟然如此重要。没了它，真的会使大家成为迷途羔羊lost sheep！

第二天，我们分成两队人马，分批进行远足Bukit Timah hike和高空活动。1-3的同学在早上得完成远足活动。我也不例外。山路不好走，又斜，又滑，又湿！有些学生一直喊累，真是的，老师都没有埋怨，你们小朋友哪里可以投诉？！但老天不作美，还没进入真正的自然生态区nature reserve，就开始下雨！

我们不得不折返return to营地，大家就淋着雨，一个个像落汤鸡似的回到营地。我们真的很狼狈，又湿，又脏。我希望小朋友们都没有着凉、生病！

下午1-3的同学都会参加高空活动，如 abseiling！我多么想看大家悬空的样子，更希望有份参与！唉，由于我得去上课，没法陪大家，也不知道大家的状况如何，所以不能和大家分享！Oh well, 塞翁失马，也因为去上课，才能忙里偷闲，在这里叙述这1天半内做了些什么！嘿嘿！

回到营地，今晚我们会进行campfire!!

失望＋露营

kinda disappointed

等了一个下午，还是有很多同学没有把功课交齐。

老师很可怜的啦。等了又等。。。但是还是很感谢那些交功课的朋友们！

Next week's cohort camp, I initially thought Sec 1s would be staying in school, in the end I realised they're stationed in Diary Farm Adventure Centre permanently. OMG... That means I can't sneak up to the staff room to work at all from Monday to Wednesday. Which also means that I will have to mark until I drop dead on Saturday and Sunday, or... I don't sleep on Wednesday...

And yet I want soooo badly for everyone to hand in their work so that I can give a good CA grade...

A breakdown of statistics...

1-3: All cleared.

1-4: MANY zuo wens and ying yong wens.

2-2: Damien's zuo wen... Anyone who sees Damien / has Damien's number... can help laoshi contact him??

2-7: Huanjia's zuo wen and Zhi Hao's zuo ye... 2-7 peeps... please help me convey the message...

3-3: MANY people's zuo wens... Names as follows: Yan Yi, Stephanie, Hongfu, Kevin, Changsheng, Wei Lun AND someone please ask Sebastian to get back his book from my pigeon hole because he didn't do it and handed me an EMPTY BOOK!! :X

Really really need some cooperation... Or I have to call parents to irritate them... :(

多么希望不需要去露营。

知道吗？我一向来都很讨厌露营，而且无法明白为什么这么多人会如此喜欢露营活动！

从中学开始，我便逃掉大大小小的露营。中一时的orientation camp，我是哭着、闹着，直到学校不得不让我回家。

奇怪，长大了，我喜欢旅游。一个人到外国1、2个星期，却不亦乐乎。但还是很排斥露营。

Anyway, this is really not a good time to have a camp. Even worse to have it on a Monday to Wednesday and having to have all data ready on Thursday.

All the more I hate camps.

Period.

Well, I won't force upon you if you refuse to hand up your work. However I would think it's a pity to give up the chance to get more marks... Grab the opportunity while it lasts. Moreover, it's too costly to be hanging a pig's head in front of your class just to chase after your work. O$P$

And I've just returned to the staff room, after administering the class test to you guys.

Due to overwhelming responses, here I am writing in English for those who are too lazy to check up the dictionary or use the google translator to translate the chunk of text.

Dear 3-3 babes and hunks,

it's not been a really long time since I know you guys. Merely 2 months but I have to say, I will miss all of you after I hand your class to another teacher.

It hasn't been a smooth-sailing route for me, with peeps who ain't interested in class, boys who are only interested in games and girls (ahem), some who are more engrossed in sleeping than in my lessons... I do have mixed feelings at times of such. I start doubting my abilities and I wonder what I have done to enhance your learning experience.

That said, it brings to the point that, life is as such. There are many 'exceptions' in life and we just got to accept it. Like, there are people who are genuinely interested in studying, with the exception of a few. There are many 'buts' in life too and no matter how tough it may seem, we still got to press on. Like, I want to study, but I'm simply too tired / no mood today.

I do understand all the problems. Well, maybe you may say I don't. If I don't, enlighten me. Guide me to know your inner world.

My main point is, I don't judge you guys, no matter what others think about you. Crude jokes and unpolished languages aside, I still find all of you a lovable bunch.

Don't hesitate to find me if you have problems. I may not be teaching you anymore but I'm still around. Drop me a message / leave your 'shou ji' in my pigeon hole / talk to me along the corridors. I'm always here for you.

Have a wonderful learning journey ahead... Be good... Listen to the new teacher taking over me... Do your best in everything... Don't give up...

昨天，我面对了内心的挣扎。

2个月的时间并不长。但我是过分感性的动物。所以那个消息让我有些难过。

3－3班的宝贝们，
虽然你们不是最容易handle的一群，
但是，老师还是很疼你们。
我不管其他人怎么看你们。
我不管其他人对你们有什么评价。

总之，老师挺你们。

当然，有时，你们还真的非比寻常地难搞，
有时，你们让我泄气，
有时，你们让我质疑究竟教了你们什么。
不过，人生不就是这样吗？

人生充满了“有时”和“也许”。
有时，不是我们能够选择的。
也许，我们未必能处理得当。

无论如何，你们还是一群带给我许多欢笑的孩子。
我仍然坚信，你们有能力把一切做好，有能力把学业搞好，有能力成为有用的人。
不要对自己没有信心。千万不要！
即使全世界背弃了你，
你还是要相信自己。

如果你无法相信自己，那还有谁可以呢？
现在有什么做不好，不要紧。
现在有什么很困惑，无所谓。
一步一脚印。
慢慢来，给自己时间，我相信，你们能成功的。
课业也好，做人也好，交男女朋友都好。

3－3的宝贝们，
老师不再教你们了。
但我一直都在！
有事，就找我吧。
